1) What motivates you to serve on the board for Rice County Area United Way?

I have lived in Rice County for most of my life, both in Faribault and Northfield. Many of my favorite people and places are here. I am also a business owner in downtown
Northfield and I am hoping to further cultivate relationships between other downtown businesses and The Rice County United Way.

2) What is one of your favorite places in Rice County? Why is it your favorite?

That's probably a toss up between St. Olaf, where I went to college, the Carleton Arboretum, where I've spent a lot of time over the years (especially when my kids were younger), and my parents’ home in Faribault. All of these places hold really special
memories for me and I'm lucky I can visit them all anytime!

3) Share what excites you most about our United Way.

After living in Northfield and being a member of the downtown community, I have witnessed the work of the United Way and all the ways it impacts our neighbors. I am so impressed with the multitude of ways they are helping people every day. To be able to be a part of an organization that is doing such good work locally makes me really excited.
