Marcia Morris-Beck served as Director of United Way from 2007 through 2011. She lived modestly, caring for herself and her mother, and quietly setting aside what she could for neighbors she'd never meet. Marcia passed away in March of 2026 — and through her planned gift, she left Rice County Area United Way the largest single gift in our history.
