Peter Scheffert works as a commercial and agriculture Senior Lender at Community Resource Bank. He has lived in Northfield for 28 years raising two children and happily married to Donna Rae. He likes being involved in community activities, traveling the world, and working on his backyard landscaping.
What motivates you to serve on the board for Rice County Area United Way?
United Way makes a difference in people’s lives and I want to help continue that great work.
What's one of your favorite places in Rice County? Why is it your favorite?
My favorite place in Rice County is the Rice County Fair. I grew up in 4-H and the fair is one of the showcases of all you have learned with projects throughout the year. It is also a fun event to go to and it is a community building event with all the people you see.

I am most excited about the change and growth. Our United Way is a county-wide program that brings together resources to help residents in a variety of ways.
